Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with startups or student-led projects
  • Knowledge of product management concepts
  • Experience conducting user interviews
  • Experience with Notion, Linear, Jira, Trello or similar tools
  • Basic understanding of software development or design
  • Experience analysing competitors or markets

About the job

BUILD SCITECH is looking for a Product & Strategy Intern to help turn ideas into products people need. You will work across research, product discovery, feature planning, user feedback and product execution. You will help us understand users, define problems clearly and determine what we should build next. This role is ideal for someone interested in product management, entrepreneurship, technology and startups. This is an unpaid internship.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user and market research
  • Help define product requirements
  • Write product briefs and feature specifications
  • Collect and analyse user feedback
  • Support product roadmaps and prioritisation
  • Research competing products
  • Coordinate work between design and engineering
  • Test new product features
  • Track product metrics and usage
  • Present recommendations to the BUILD SCITECH team
