AI & Applied Intelligence Intern

Minimum qualifications:
- Basic Python programming
- Basic understanding of machine learning or AI
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience building technical projects
- Ability to learn independently
- Interest in modern AI systems
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with LLM APIs or open-source models
- Knowledge of RAG or vector databases
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Understanding of embeddings
- Experience with data analysis
- GitHub projects related to AI or machine learning

BUILD SCITECH is looking for an AI & Applied Intelligence Intern interested in experimenting with modern AI systems and turning research into useful applications.
You may work on LLM applications, intelligent automation, retrieval systems, machine learning experiments, data pipelines or AI features integrated into BUILD SCITECH products.
We are particularly interested in people who enjoy building, experimenting and learning from technical papers, open-source projects and real-world datasets.
This is an unpaid internship.

Responsibilities
- Prototype AI-powered product features
- Experiment with models and AI APIs
- Build simple AI workflows and applications
- Evaluate model outputs
- Work with datasets and APIs
- Document experiments and findings
- Research emerging AI technologies
- Collaborate with product engineers
- Build internal AI tools and automations
- Turn successful experiments into product prototypes
